Buy & Sell With Confidence — Not Guesswork
For sellers: serious bidders. For buyers: vehicle information upfront. For both: commitment.
Maple Driven auctions require a $500 commitment from both buyer and seller. Buyers review a recent CARFAX/lien report and independent vehicle inspection before bidding, while sellers avoid lowballers, endless negotiations and buyers who aren't serious.
Didn't win or no qualifying deal was reached? The applicable $500 commitment is returned.
Deal completed? Seller gets the full $500 back. Winning buyer gets $250 back, and Maple Driven keeps $250 as the successful-auction fee.
What Is Managed by Maple Driven?
A structured auction designed to make both sides more serious before they spend time meeting each other.
Vehicle Information Upfront
Auction sellers provide a recent CARFAX/lien report and independent inspection no older than 15 days.
$500 From Both Sides
Seller and bidder each place a $500 commitment deposit, helping reduce fake bids, last-minute cancellations and wasted time.
Neutral Third Party
Maple Driven manages the auction and commitment process. The vehicle and actual purchase payment stay between buyer and seller.
For Sellers
How It Works
Sell to serious bidders without paying Maple Driven a success fee.
Request Your Auction
Submit your vehicle and request approval for Maple Driven auction.
Provide Your Verification Package
Provide a CARFAX/lien report and independent vehicle inspection no older than 15 days. The seller is responsible for the approximate $250 verification cost.
Set Your Private Reserve + Deposit $500
Tell us the minimum price you are willing to accept. Buyers do not see your reserve. Then place your refundable $500 commitment.
Serious Buyers Bid
Approved bidders also commit $500 before bidding. If your reserve isn’t reached, you don’t have to sell and your $500 is returned.

Closing the Deal
Winning the auction locks the buyer and seller into the next stage of the transaction.
Deal Locked
A qualifying winning bid is reached and both parties receive the information needed to arrange their meeting.
Meet & Confirm the Vehicle
Buyer meets the seller, sees the vehicle and confirms the vehicle before completing the purchase.
Pay the Seller Directly
The buyer pays the seller directly. Maple Driven never holds the vehicle purchase price or the vehicle.
Both Confirm Completion
Both parties mark the transaction completed. Seller’s $500 is returned; buyer receives $250 back and Maple Driven retains the $250 successful-auction fee.
If Someone Backs Out
The $500 commitment exists so one person's change of mind doesn't automatically become the other person's wasted time.
Seller Backs Out After Reserve Is Met
If a qualifying deal is locked and the seller wrongfully refuses to proceed, up to $250 of the seller’s commitment may compensate the affected buyer, subject to evidence and auction terms.
Winning Buyer Backs Out
If the winning buyer wrongfully refuses to proceed, up to $250 of the buyer’s commitment may compensate the affected seller, subject to evidence and auction terms.
Dispute Cannot Be Determined
If Maple Driven cannot reasonably determine responsibility within the defined review period, both parties’ applicable commitment deposits are returned according to the auction terms.
Important Questions
